St. John’s Wort: Herbal Support for Mental Health and Skin Care
St. John’s Wort (Hypericum perforatum) has a long history of use for various health concerns. It has been traditionally used to support mental health, particularly for depression, menopausal symptoms, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), somatic symptom disorder (a condition in which a person experiences excessive anxiety about physical symptoms), and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Additionally, it has antibacterial properties that help fight inflammation and can relieve symptoms associated with minor wounds and skin irritation when applied topically.
Our Extraction Process
We use a state-of-the-art microprocessor to create our tinctures and extracts. Our precise process of milling, blending, heating, and steeping at the correct temperatures and in the right sequence results in an exceptional tincture that captures the full potency of St. John’s Wort.
Organic MCT Fractionated Coconut Oil is used in our extraction process to help draw out the active ingredients of the herb. This oil also helps stabilize and preserve the extract while acting as a carrier substance that enhances the delivery of active ingredients within the body.
Dosage and Directions
Our finished tincture is packaged in a 2-ounce UVA-protected amber glass bottle with a glass vial dropper. The recommended dosage is to take one dropper (1 squeeze) 3 times a day, as needed. It’s best to start with a lower dosage and gradually adjust according to your needs.
