Organic Raw Cocoa Ghee Chocolate Clarified Butter Amish Keto & Paleo
Ghee is known for its wonderful flavor and versatility. Ghee is also called clarified butter. Ghee is made by cooking the butter for a longer period of time and straining out nearly all the milk solids and water, leaving pure butterfat behind. This process makes Ghee suitable for people with lactose issues and dairy allergies. It is also great for those that use a Keto or Paleo eating lifestyle. Ghee is Lactose and Casein free.
Our wonderful Chocolate Ghee is all natural and organic. We infuse all our herbs with the Ghee for 2 hours in an infuser. The ingredients are: Amish Butter, Raw Cocoa Powder, Pink Himalayan Salt and Raw Honey.
We make our Ghee with Amish butter from pasture raised, grass-fed cows which contain a great amount of conjugated linoleic acid. Ghee contains vitamin E, one of the most powerful antioxidants found in food and large amounts of fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K. Ghee also aids in the body’s absorption of fat-soluble vitamins and minerals from other foods. Although Ghee has a high concentration of fat, it is high in monounsaturated Omega-3s. These are the same healthy fatty acids found in foods like salmon. Ghee is free of unhealthy additives, preservatives and trans fats and is a rich source of antioxidants.
Organic Raw Cocoa is a great source of healthy fats and fiber. It has 40 times the antioxidants of blueberries and is the highest plant-based source of iron. The iron is 7.3mg per 100g with spinach only being 3.6 per 110g. Raw cocoa has more calcium than cow’s milk at 160mg per 100g vs only 125mg per 100ml of milk. Cacao contains polyphenols, flavonoids, niacin and is a great source of serotonin, tryptophan, tyrosine and phenylethylamine. These neurotransmitters are associated with the feelings of well being and happiness.
Raw Honey – Raw honey contains up to 80 different substances important to human nutrition. Besides glucose and fructose, honey contains: All of the B-complex, A, C, D, E, and K, minerals and trace elements: magnesium, sulfur, phosphorus, iron, calcium, chlorine, potassium, iodine, sodium, copper, and manganese. The live enzyme content of honey is one of the highest of all foods.
Ghee has a smoking point of nearly 500°F, which makes it great for using as oil for frying or sautéing. Ghee can be used in almost all recipes as a butter substitute. We use chocolate Ghee as a spread, on ice cream, in our smoothies and other recipes. It is great for dipping your fruit into as well. Because of its pure form and low moisture content, ghee is shelf-stable and can stay fresh for up to a year without refrigeration.
