Star Anise – provides thymol, terpineol and anethole, which is used for treating the cold and flu virus. It contains many medicinal compounds and is used for the extraction of shikimic acid which is the active ingredient in Tamiflu. Star Anise kills off bacteria and fungus. It is rich in antioxidants, is also great for heart health and helps regulate blood sugar. It is antiviral properties also help with other viruses including herpes simplex.  Reduces respiratory congestion.
